Graveney Gin Cocktails
Now there is nothing wrong with a classic gin and tonic but if you fancy something different, then these easy recipes are simply delicious.
All cocktails serve 1

Easy
French 75
· 45ml Graveney Gin
· 15ml lemon juice
· 7.5ml sugar syrup*
· Champagne, Prosecco or any bubbles you choose
Add gin, lemon juice and syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into an empty glass. Top up with champagne. Garnish with peel or a wheel of lemon.

Easy
Blackberry Bramble
· 60ml Graveney Gin
· 30ml fresh lemon juice (preferably)
· 15ml sugar syrup*
· 15ml Crème de Mure
Add the gin, lemon and sugar syrup to a shaker. Shake well. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Gently pour the Crème de Mure over the top, creating the ‘bramble’ type effect. Garnish with fresh or frozen blackberries and limes.

Medium
Pear, Apple & Thyme Fizz
· 1 ripe pear
· 1/2 green apple
· 60ml Graveney Gin
· 1 tablespoon honey
· 2 tablespoons lemon juice
· Soda Water to top up
· Thyme to decorate
· Ice
Remove cores and seeds from the pear and apple. Run through juicer and add lemon juice immediately**. Shake juice with gin and honey. Pour over ice, top with soda water, and garnish, apple, pear and a sprig of thyme.
*How to make the sugar syrup from scratch
· 60ml water
· 50g caster sugar
On a hot pan, dissolve all the sugar into warm water and make sure that it does not boil. Pour into a glass jar once cooled and store for 1 month.
**If you do not have a juicer, remove cores and seeds from fruit and boil until very soft. Blend/ strain or mash until puree consistency
